There are almost 5 billion non-Christians in the world. 40% of them are Muslims. The mission field is not just a thousand miles away. Now it is on clearly our doorsteps. This basic study of Islam with a Biblical Perspective is presented with a two-fold objective. The first not only that you will know some basic teachings of Islam in contrast to Biblical teaching but that it will strengthen your faith in Christ and the assurance of eternal life He gives. Second, this knowledge will be of some use to you in sharing your faith in Christ with Muslims when an opportunity comes, so you are ready for their questions including their objections.

What do Muslims believe and practice? What are the basic tenants of Islam? In this presentation with a Biblical perspective, we look at the basic beliefs of Islam and what Muslims practice. Although Islam uses most often a Biblical vocabulary, it has its own dictionary. A study is presented here on the articles of faith and the five pillars of Islam so to comprehend how Islam is different in its belief and practice system and why it is important that we share with Muslims the eternal hope we have through Christ.
Many Muslims in the West insist that instead of using the term Judeo-Christian Heritage, we should use the term Abrahamic Heritage. They want this so to include Islam as a faith. With a Biblical perspective, this presentation looks at the key beliefs of Islam about Abraham, God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, Salvation, and the Muslim World View.
Some say Islam is peaceful. Others claim no, Islam is very militant. Do we find such contradictory teaching in the Qur'an and in the traditions of Islam? What Biblical approach Christians should take?
What does Islam teach about the rights and responsibilities of men and women in Islam? What does the Qur'an and Ahadith (the traditions) say about the rights of men and women in marriage and raising a family? Both men and women are promised God's paradise but why the Qur'an portrays a paradise as reward for men folk? What does the Bible say?
Steven Masood shares his thoughts on how to respond to some questions Muslim friends ask about our Christian faith: 1. Do you believe in Muhammad and the Qur’an? 2. I believe in Jesus as a prophet of God, why can’t you believe in Muhammad as the final prophet? 3. Why don’t you become a Muslim? 4. Why do you believe in three gods? 5. How can Jesus be the Son of God? 6. Jesus was not really crucified. 7. The Bible has been altered, corrupted. 8. Why is Jesus the only way?
The mission field is not thousands of miles away, it’s now on my and your doorsteps. How about Muslims next door? How about the Muslim doctors, shopkeepers, pharmacists and co-workers with whom we share most of the day in our company or business and how about Muslims children and teens who attend schools and universities with our children? There are enormous opportunities and 1001 ways to share the Gospel. In this video a few “do and don’t” are discussed. You may read an article on this subject by Steven at this website here:
